Latin Night - September 13th
September 13, 2011 - NETS season ticket holders were invited to learn some Latin dance moves from the best professionals in the business. On September 10th, Dance With Me Studios hosted Latin Night at their Ridgefield, NJ location. Attendees witnessed a demonstration from world champion instructors, got a lesson in some basic dance steps, and showed their skills in a high energy dance party. NEWCOMER COMPETITION
January 30, 2011- The Dance With Me Family hosted their annual Newcomer Competition at the Ridgefield, NJ location this past Sunday. Designed to celebrate and showcase the talents and enthusiasm of the studios' students, all three Dance With Me outposts competed against one another for the ultimate prize of recognition.
The excitement and cheering was palpable in the packed studio space filled with friends, family and fans as Soho, NJ and LI teams danced in pairs to the styles of International standard, International Latin, American Smooth and American Rhythm.While in the end, Soho was announced the winner, the camaraderie of the dancers uniting for a common cause proved to supersede the prize.
The event served as a platform to raise money for the charity KIDS FOR AIDS. Raffle tickets were sold for a grand prize of a private lesson with Maksim Chmerkovsky and Tony Dovolani.
